How to open a PSD file

A PSD is the editable document format used by Adobe Photoshop. If you only need to view or export one, you do not need to install Photoshop.

Open a PSD in your browser

1. Choose the PSD Viewer.
2. Drop your `.psd` file onto the page or choose it from your device.
3. Preview the rendered document and download a PNG or JPG if needed.

Is my file uploaded?

No. PSDPeek processes the file locally in your browser. The file is read from your device, rendered on-device, and never sent to a conversion server.

What if the preview fails?

Some Photoshop features, unusual color modes, or damaged files may not contain a usable composite preview in a browser parser. In that case, open the original in Photoshop or another desktop graphics application.
